Butterfly effect

I am a still-young engineer specialized in computer and control engineering but working in IT. I’ve spent most of my professional career developing the IT infrastructure of various companies in industries like financial, manufacturing and media but I have spent quite a bit of time on construction (infrastructure) projects such as highways and airports also.

Currently I am managing the infrastructure development department at ADAC.  ADAC is a company specialized in operating airports and currently has 5 airports under it’s mandate, including AUH, AZI, and AAN. Currently our challenge is to develop the third largest terminal building in the world.

My main hobby is taking pictures followed closely by my often unconscious urge to collect cameras and photo equipment. I own several Zenit, Fujica, Pentax, Zorki, Nikon and Canon (3, 5, 300, 400D, 3D will be bought when it appears)  cameras, each accompanied by a variety of lenses that would significantly increase my net worth if there was a market for them. My greatest fear is that someday I will buy a Leica. I am still on the search for the perfect camera which is a digital full frame, looks like a Leica but probably is slightly smaller and has two lenses, a 24mm f/1.4 and a 50mm f/1.4. I am flexible on the focal length but I need a fast lens. Anyway, the camera must be small-ish, really fast and able to resist the rigors of travel and airport security.

I enjoy traveling and have worked in Europe, the US and the Middle East. Currently I am located in Abu Dhabi.
